The Old Plough Inn, November 1997

Certainly a welcome sight for us as we wandered across the fields in the pouring rain from nearby Rutland Water. A very cosy pub with a comfortable lounge bar at the front full of locals. There's also a public bar and also a restaurant at the back in a no-smoking conservatory serving a wide range of unusual dishes well worth visiting if you enjoy trying something a little different. They've also seating outside in the garden.

Alewise they like to offer local beers from Rutland breweries which went down very well with our group. Service is good and efficient in this tidy pub. They can also cater for small conferences with a room that you can hire out and also offer to cater for all your food and beverage needs.
