Giles, Jim and Phil outside the Swan Inn, September 1997

A good traditional pub dating back to 1606 in a pleasant village. The pub is very popular with locals with real ale noticeably cheaper than anywhere nearby. Perfectly served Bathams Mild, Bitter and XXX on offer on handpump brewed along the Delph Road in Brierley Hill in the West Midlands. They also have pork scratchings on offer in 3 packet sizes! They've bar meals on offer and a restaurant that's open every day apart from Sunday evenings and on Mondays. During the summer they have barbecues out the back in the large garden.

They've two bars and a separate restaurant and seating out the back in the garden. We sat in the large high-ceilinged attractive lounge bar that soon filled with quite a mix of locals. Hmmm worth visiting again.
